Banking and Finance Lawyer (1-2 years' PQE)

Are you a (junior) lawyer from a top tier law firm with a good grounding in banking and finance law? Our client is well established in Luxembourg, and part of a renowned global firm. They can offer great work, great colleagues, and a great opportunity.
Do you speak fluent English and German, and ideally have a good understanding of French? Are you qualified / entitled to register with the Luxembourg Bar, or with another EU Bar?
If the answer is yes to the above, we have a role with a global law firm with a stellar reputation, in their growing and highly regarded Luxembourg office that could be an amazing role for you!
• You will already have experience working in a high-calibre law practice in Luxembourg, and be keen to learn and have a deep desire to provide quality advice. You will have good initial experience in banking & finance, though exposure to corporate /M&A/Funds will also be an asset.
• You will probably have around 1 - 2 years’ experience practicing in Luxembourg, or a year, but with prior relevant experience in another EU jurisdiction.
• You will enjoy working with a degree of autonomy, whilst also having a straightforward and supportive partner to supervise you, and help you to develop your skills.
• You be flexible, enthusiastic, and serious about your career.

To be considered for this role, you will be:
• Fluent in German and English, ideally with some French
• Qualified or entitled to Register with the Luxembourg or other EU Bar.
• Prior experience in the finance team of a law firm,minimum of 1 year, ideally 2.
• Additional experience around investment funds law, corporate and M&A will be an asset
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and flexible
• Serious about working in a fast paced international environment
• Willing to work flexibly, and be given flexibility and respect in return
