Banking and Finance Lawyer (1-4 years' PQE)

We have a role with a global law firm with a stellar reputation, in their growing and highly regarded Luxembourg office!
Are you a lawyer from a top tier law firm with prior post-qualification experience in banking and finance law in Luxembourg? If you speak fluent English and German (ideally, also with some French), and are qualified in Luxembourg, our client’s role could be a great fit for you. The client seeks someone who already has experience working in a high-calibre law practice in Luxembourg. You will be keen to learn and have a deep desire to provide quality advice. You will have good initial experience in banking & finance law, though some initial exposure to corporate /M&A/Funds will also be an asset.
You will enjoy working with a degree of autonomy, whilst also having a straightforward and supportive partner to support and supervise you, as you continue to develop your skills. You’ll be flexible, enthusiastic, and serious about your career, whilst they will allow good work life balance.

To be considered for this role, you will be:
• Fluent in German and English, ideally with some French, and comfortable working in this English speaking international environment
• Qualified or entitled to Register with the Luxembourg or other EU Bar.
• Have prior experience in the banking and finance team of a law firm, with an absolute minimum of 1 years' experience, up to around 4 years of experience
• Additional experience around investment funds law, or corporate and M&A will be an asset but isn't essential
• Have a strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and flexible
• Serious about working in a fast paced international environment
• Willing to work flexibly, and be given flexibility and respect in return
