€100-125k base salary
Job Description
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development, you will join a team of experienced colleagues. Due to our client’s expansion in their products and services, they seek additional resources to win business to deliver increased revenue.
You will develop your business contacts and through introductions to intermediaries, further develop your network and broaden our client’s reach. You will focus on Luxembourg private capital markets.
There is a requirement to travel to meet prospective clients and intermediaries, attend conferences, networking events and become an ambassador of the business. You will be supported by a Marketing Team, senior stakeholders and Relationship Managers.
Responsibilities include:
• You will develop your network, arrange meetings, attend conferences, network intermediaries and build pipelines of new business
• Generate and follow up leads and business opportunities
• Monetise your network and relationships
• Plan and prepare business proposals and the sales process, right up to closing the deals
• Plan a client target list, initiate introductions and strategize how to engage prospects
• Work closely with other members of the business development team
Candidate Requirements
• Fluent English & German language skills are essential
• Proven success in developing business within the alternative investments sector
• The ability to establish a network of intermediaries and contacts within the funds sector
• A team orientated approach
