Oversight Manager - AIFM (PE Firm)

Job Description

My client offers a superb opportunity in an Oversight and Regulatory role working within a thriving AIFM in Luxembourg. This is a senior role focusing on Portfolio Management Oversight, reporting to a Conducting Officer.
You will work in a team providing PM oversight liaising with various stakeholders in the US, London and Dublin. You will co-ordinate with various internal legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory expectations. You will have the advantage of working on new and existing complex fund structures providing exciting challenges with the opportunity to develop your knowledge and career.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Conduct ongoing due diligence, monitoring and reviews of all portfolio management delegates.
• Ensure KPIs are met and procedures are followed
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal delegates and service providers
• Ensuring optimal governance frameworks are in place to meet internal (local and global standards) and regulatory requirements.
• Acting as point of contact for PMO matters for US & EMEA for all regulatory updates.
• Liaising with external counsel to obtain legal advice when necessary.
• Co-ordinate onboarding of new funds ensuring compliance of all fund documentation and processes.
• Participating in relevant committees when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Have held a Governance/Oversight role in a regulatory/advisory department in Big 4, or are already in-house working in an AIFM.
• Have a great knowledge of the local/EU regulations relating to UCITS and AIFS, outsourcing, new regulations and CSSF circular updates (this could include circular 22/808 and DORA).
• Consider yourself highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and able to build strong partnerships across an organization.
• Fluent English language skills are essential. Additional languages advantageous.
• All applicants must have an existing right to work in Luxembourg.
