Corporate and M&A Lawyer 8-10 years' PQE
Job Description
We have a superb opportunity for a Luxembourg based corporate and M&A lawyer with around 8 - 10 years’ experience in the corporate / M&A or commercial practice of a law firm or in-house for an asset manager / investment company. You will be the deputy head of the legal team. This is not a corporate governance role, but a pure transaction focused position.

This is a true Counsel role, in which you support the Head of Legal and manage senior associates.
You will:
• Provide legal advice to the business on a range of M&A transactions in PE, RE and infrastructure
• Manage third party counsel and other advisors, liaise with the deal team
• Provide advice on compliance with local laws
• Review and negotiate contracts
• Minimize legal risks to the company
• Manage transactions from A to Z
• Work on ad hoc advice or relevantl projects.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role you will:
• Be prepared to work full time
• Possess excellent English language skills
• Have around 10 +/- years of experience gained post qualification in M&A gained in a law firm or investment firm in Luxembourg, ideally with some international exposure
• You will have passed the CCDL, or hold an EU legal qualification and hold at least a Masters in Law
• You must be working in Luxembourg now or have done so recently
• You will be a great team player, and work with integrity, efficiency and accuracy.
