Senior Fund Accounting Manager, Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced manager to join them as a Senior Manager to manage a team overseeing a portfolio of infrastructure funds.
This is a great opportunity for a Luxembourg finance professional with an excellent understanding of private equity OR infrastructure funds, to join a supportive and collaborative culture in a company renowned for its investment in people and business growth due to service excellence.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
• Responsibility for client relationships, and managing a team producing all the accounting and reporting deliverables
• Reviewing all accounting aspects and overseeing the production and review of financial statements and the regulatory reporting for funds, ensuring client and internal protocols are followed
• Act as the key point of escalation on complex issues, coordinating audits, etc.
• Taking Board positions as Board Member and advisor, presenting financial information to the Board
• Work with various stakeholders including the wider accounting team, asset managers, tax advisors, senior management, auditors, etc., to ensure a seamless client service
• Provide assistance to senior management when required
• Be involved in training and developing your team, acting as a mentor and leading by example, conducting appraisals and being involved in recruitment

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:
• Experience in private equity or infrastructure fund accounting with a strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Ideally you will have an accounting or finance degree and/or be fully or part ACCA qualified
• You must demonstrate the capability of managing a team of over 8 people and success in developing a high performing team
• Excellent communication and client facing skills are essential
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written is critical. Another European language is always advantageous.
