Finance Associate / Senior Associate

Job Description

Our client is looking for someone with 3-4 years of Luxembourg investment funds accounting experience, to join the team as a Financial Accountant.

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the financial and administrative well-being of the company’s investment vehicles supported by service providers.
You will assist asset managers and other team members in the efficient daily management of the business of the corporate entities.
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Review financial statements for the corporate entities
• Prepare corporate budgets for all investment companies
• Approve annual budgets
• Prepare variance reports
• Preparation, maintain and take charge of the payment process
• Follow-up on audit requirements
• Manage bank accesses, invoices payments process
• Review and/or draft board minutes and keep records of board approvals

Candidate Requirements

• 3-4 years of accounting and administration of a variety of alternative investment vehicles in Luxembourg
• Good Accounting skills
• Willingness to multi-task
• University degree in business administration, management, accounting, legal…or other relevant professional qualifications
• Be fluent in English AND French
• Be willing to take autonomy for your work, whilst being supported by others.
