Senior Accountant - Trust & Holdings

Our client is a well-established international trust business, with a long-standing history in providing a consistent and personal service to a large portfolio of international clients.

We are looking to find a Senior Accountant to join their local team.

Responsibilities will include:
• Managing the full accounting activity for a portfolio of holding company and financing company structures
• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly reporting and annual accounts for your clients
• Preparation of CIT and VAT declarations
• Build close relationships with your clients – as most are small, they will rely on your heavily. You will therefore ensure excellent client satisfaction and in return, you will be a trusted provider to their company and learn the business whilst growing your experience
• Preparation of subscription tax declarations
• Ensures compliance with law and regulations
• Will work in close cooperation

To be considered, you’ll have:

• A minimum 8 or more years accounting experience
• A Master’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proven experience within financial / trust accounting
• Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, knowledge of securitisation is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written English (French or German is advantageous)
