Senior Accountant - Corporate Services
Job Description
Our client is an international corporate and trust services business, with a history of providing a consistent and professional service to a portfolio of clients including HNWIs and Family Offices.
We are looking to find them a Senior Accountant to add to their local team in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant position will include:
Managing the full accounting cycles for a portfolio of holding company and financing company structures
Liaising with various internal stakeholders (CoSec, Senior Management etc…) as well as external providers (audit firms…) to ensure your files are kept in good order
Preparation and review of monthly/quarterly reporting and annual accounts for your clients
Regular contact with your clients, understanding their portfolios and what’s important to the client, whilst developing a relationship enabling you to gain exposure to their priorities and investment goals
Preparation of CIT and VAT declarations
Preparation of subscription tax declarations
Ensuring compliance with relevant law and regulations
Working closely with the legal/corporate team.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, you’ll have:
A minimum 8 years of Soparfi accounting experience
A Master’s degree in accounting or finance
Proven experience within financial / trust accounting and repeat reporting/accounting cycles
A good understanding of what is behind the investment structures and how/why certain accounting or reporting processes are required (and you'll be tested on this)
Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP
Sound experience of Luxembourg holding company structures (Soparfis), knowledge of securitisation vehicles is a plus
Good Excel skills
Strong verbal and written English (French is advantageous)
