Job Description
The Information & Technology (IT) Support Officer works in daily IT operations, playing an important role in supporting IT strategies and providing IT solutions for the business. This is a mid-level role, you will work in a team of 10 and report to a Senior IT Manager, so there is opportunity to learn and develop.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Work in a team to support day-to-day IT operations
• Provide system monitoring, verifying all hardware, including servers, backups and system processes
• Ensure all applicable updates, patches, and configuration changes are made to operating systems.
• Perform daily backups of critical systems and data, plus check application and system logs
• Track and manage IT inventory
• Document system configurations
• Investigate and troubleshoot IT issues to resolution
• Perform infrastructure repairs and recoveries
• Consult with IT colleagues (in Luxembourg and internationally) discussing Group wide initiatives and potential IT developments that could enhance the business
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT)
• Approximately 3-6 years of experience in IT operations, with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, theories, principles, and best practices within professional services and ideally in a bank
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in ENGLISH
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-pressure environment
• Strong experience of Active Directory administration
• Proficiency in system and data backups
• Basic knowledge of networking
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in any additional languages is considered an asset.
