Senior Risk Officer

On behalf of our highly regarded corporate banking client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Officer to join our client's growing risk team. The business offers a good working environment (all on-site), technical challenge, and scope to develop in a stable environment, working across all areas of risk (though more weighted towards market risk rather than credit risk).
In this role, amongst other tasks you will:
• Support the bank’s continued risk forecasting, risk monitoring and risk control efforts across all areas, developing existing procedures
• Support the assessment of the risk aspects of new commercial products
• Modelling risks
• Draft risk assessment reports internally
• Participate in periodic reports both internally and externally (e.g.: Pillar III, ICAAP, ICLAAP, stress tests etc., )
• Ensure accurate risk reporting, (AnaCredit)
• Help the team to consider new KRI, monitoring tools, methodologies by keeping up to date with market practice and developments
• Participate in internal communication and training on risks

• Probably 4-9 years of experience in a similar role in a commercial / corporate bank with corporate and institutional client base
• Great technical skills, with knowledge across credit risk, market risk, and operational risk
• Prior Luxembourg based experience (at least 3 years locally or in Europe)
• Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg laws and regulations, especially CSSF circulars, the Basel regulations, ECB, etc.
• Good knowledge of risk management reporting, Anacredit, risk best practice, analytics and KRI
• Fluency in English as this is an English speaking environment; French would also be an advantage
• Good knowledge of international financial markets and products
