We are delighted to be working with a global commercial business to find an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Controller to run the Luxembourg finance function for this large business.
The office is small in Luxembourg, based in the heart of the City, so close to shops and restaurants, with a positive team environment. You will manage the finances of the holding and operational companies, plus much of the running of the office day-to-day.
You will need experience in working in a commerce & industry company or holding company.

Our client offers a dynamic environment, where you will be expected to work autonomously.
You will be technically strong in accounting & finance, with a good understanding of tax, budgeting, cost control and assist with deal closings. You will be energized by leading a variety of tasks have a solid understanding of tax.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage and oversee the finances for a number of entities/company structures in Luxembourg (including holding companies)
• Oversee the production of financial statements and reporting requirements for all entities including regulatory reporting, CIT/VAT reporting and the valuation of companies
• Involved in financial budgets, forecasting, cost control, cash management, as well as analysis of actual versus variances to budget
• Act as a Director of entities attending board meetings
• Build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders including auditors
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls within the finance process
• Involvement in ad hoc projects that impact finance function
• Provide leadership locally over departments such as HR, IT, Facilities Management
