Compliance Manager
Job Description
Our client is an international real estate asset manager in Luxembourg city centre. They’re looking for a senior compliance professional to support the Conducting Officer for Compliance in daily work, with scope to grow into a Conducting Officer position. The role involves a dynamic international set up, and you will need to integrate with a range of people and operating styles, adapting and enhancing policies and procedures as and when necessary.
Key Duties will include:
• Ensuring the correct implementation and development of the compliance framework, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations
• Maintaining and developing company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining and updating the risk-based compliance monitoring plan
• Suggesting enhancements and monitoring their implementation.
• Participate in the oversight of delegates, including initial and ongoing due diligence
• Advise on regulatory changes and their impact on operations and participate in the implementation of changes
• Be responsible for the RC / MLRO function, implementing/maintaining the AML / CTF Framework
• Liaise with the CSSF and provide reporting
• Deliver compliance training to staff.
• Prepare the compliance and AML internal reporting to the boards and the Executive Committee
Candidate Requirements
This role will suit someone who is adaptable, flexible, and possesses excellent technical knowledge of the regulatory environment for Luxembourg AIFs, has strong analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with the integrity you’d expect of a compliance officer.
Around 6-10 years' experience in compliance in an AIFM or alternative funds service provider / ManCo is essential.
Excellent English language skills are essential, as is prior Luxembourg based experience.
