Senior Corporate Officer (Manager level)
Job Description
Our client is a small but stable fiduciary, focused on excellent client care and employee stability to ensure good continuity for their clients. This is an office based role in the city centre, in an English speaking environment. They offer a great role for a Luxembourg legal officer / corporate officer with around 8-10 years of experience independently managing a portfolio of corporate entities. A legal education will be an advantage.
You will:
• Be in charge of a portfolio of private and corporate clients, supporting their legal and Co-Sec matters
• Apply necessary KYC and operational procedures for onboarding clients with the other staff
• Draft and review corporate resolutions and proxies and prepare answers in support of other operational teams.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure that legal deadlines for approvals and filings of annual accounts are met
• Assist in board meetings and shareholders meetings
• Draft minutes in English
• Enjoy direct client contact, being a great communicator
• Be flexibl,e being in a small office where team orientattion is important
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will :
• Speak and write fluently in English. French is also preferred but not essential.
• Have at least 7 years' experience (probably 8 - 10 years') in a similar Corporate Officer / Trust Officer / governance role, with at least 2 of those years to have been in Luxembourg
• Be able to demonstrate job stability.
• Have excellent knowledge of Luxembourg corporate law, with a prior legal education or background being a real advantage
• Have the ability to multi-task.
