PE Funds Legal Officer - Manager
Job Description
We have a fantastic and thriving client that focuses on high colleague retention through internal opportunity and continued training. This is a great move for someone who has initial people management experience, as you will be responsible for a small team of legal officers, with the support of your senior managers.
You will administer a portfolio of private equity (PE) fund structures and be a key part of maintaining strong relations with the client.
Duties will include:
• Being the first point of contact for a limited number of fund structures within a team
• Supporting the clients in the implementation and administration of a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures
• Liaise with clients and intermediaries, and co-ordinate legal, tax and other professionals
• Attend and participate in client board meetings and shareholders meetings
• Supervise and assist in the training and development of staff , being B-level signatory
• Act as a board member on certain client structures
• Other tasks as appropriate
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will:
• Possess valid current work permission for Luxembourg, and currently work in a similar role in Luxembourg, Dublin or other EU fund hub
• Possess excellent English language skills
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services, with at least 2 years’ experience in funds specifically
• Great communication skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships
• Ability to work under pressure, with a can-do attitude and being solution driven.
