Business Development Manager
Job Description
Are you a business development manager or senior associate? If so, be a part of a thriving PSF / fund administrator, where you have fertile ground for your business development expertise. As a (more junior) manager reporting to the senior manager and Global Head of our client’s Business Development team, you will join a team of experienced colleagues. Due to our client’s expansion in the service lines offered to a range of financial services companies, we’re helping them to find great people to win new business.
You will develop your existing business contacts and further develop your network to broaden our client’s reach. To be considered for the role, you will come from a Big-4, psf, bank, fintech or fund administrator, with a strong knowledge of business development in the alternative funds space.
Your responsibilities will include:
• You will develop your network, arrange meetings, attend conferences, network intermediaries and build pipelines of new business
• Generate and follow up leads and business opportunities
• Monetise your network and relationships
• Plan and prepare business proposals and the sales process, right up to closing the deals
• Plan a client target list, initiate introductions and strategize how to engage prospects
• Work closely with other members of the business development team
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will:
• come from a Big-4, psf, bank, fintech or fund administrator, with a strong knowledge of business development in the alternative funds space in Luxembourg
• Have a proven success in developing business within the financial services / alternative investments sector, coming from a similar role, or adjacent role with a sales attitude
• The ability to establish a network of intermediaries and contacts within the funds sector
• A team orientated approach
• Our client will likely require some business travel, so this must be practical for you
