Senior Corporate Legal Manager

Job Description

Our client is a leader in the provision of financial services to some of the largest investment companies globally. They have an enviable record of growth and success in their Luxembourg Office, built about an excellent work ethic, strong teamwork and a strong leadership platform.
Due to an internal promotion, they seek an experienced senior manager to lead a team of 8 colleagues to manage the legal and operational lifecycle of a selection of real estate investment entities (funds and the underlying investment structures).

Some responsibilities in the job:
• Lead two operations teams focusing on the lifecycle of a portfolio of real estate investments (Co Sec, Treasury & Transfer Agency)
• Develop strategic existing client accounts
• Attend board meetings, possibly acting as the Manager of some entities
• Be the escalation point for high level client queries (you will have managers below you dealing with some queries)
• Act at review level, ensuring KPIs are followed and the service delivery is adhered to and of excellent quality
• Ensure financial statements, distributions, filings, reportings are accurate and on time
• Manage the billing of the teams
• Lead, develop and support the teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience running a portfolio of entities in Luxembourg (mix of unregulated funds and SPVs etc…)
• Some knowledge of real estate assets , other alternative asset classes would make up for lack of a specific real estate focus
• Excellent English, written and spoken
• Proven success in managing and developing high performing teams
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Good communication skills, be confident in addressing groups, leading meetings…
