Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity
Job Description
Our client, a Global Financial Services company, is looking to add a Senior Private Equity Accountant to their growing accounting team. You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Private Equity Accounting, and be studying for the ACCA or ACA professional exams.

The successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:
• Manage a portfolio of Luxembourg Private Equity companies
• Prepare accounts on a regular basis, utilising IFRS and LuxGAAP
• Complete the bookkeeping and recording of all transactions
• Prepare the clients financial statements and answer all adhoc client queries
• Complete both indirect and direct tax returns
• Liaise with a number of 3rd parties, in addition to your clients, including audit firms, consulting firms and lawyers
• Produce adhoc reporting, and cash flow analysis
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this position you will requirement the following:
• University degree in business, accountancy, or finance related subject
• ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualification is a distinct advantage
• 3 – 5 years of accounting experience across Private Equity funds or fund structures
• Fluent in English; plus another European language
• Good knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Strong problem solving skills, with aptitude for initiative
• Good communication and organisation skills
