Our client is an entrepreneurial investment company. They are looking for a Group CFO to manage the financial and governance requirements for Luxembourg and European holding companies.
The role requires someone who has worked as a CFO for an investment company.
They are targeting someone highly organised and dependable, an individual who can deliver the execution of the company’s strategic initiatives.
As the Group CFO, you will take an overview of the companies within the group, plus lead the management of a robust financial control process.
Initiatives will include:
- Develop a robust control structure for the financial management of European holding companies
- Oversee the corporate accounting of the Luxembourg entities and direct foreign subsidiaries
- Liaise with other jurisdictional colleagues on cash flows to finance new deals
- Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisers
- Understand fund deal documents to facilitate smooth operational process
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls managing reporting and operational requirements, ensuring any updates to governance is in line with regulatory framework and company policy
- Take responsibility for financial reporting, tax preparation, BCL reporting, treasury, cash management and operations
- Supervision and preparation of Management reports
- Generate ad hoc investment reporting
- Supervision of auditing and consolidation requirements for the group of entities
- Manage and perform special projects and other ad hoc tasks as they arise
