Compliance - Associate Vice President

My client offers a superb range of legal and regulatory compliance work within a thriving AIFM in Luxembourg.
This is a significantly senior role, being an Associate Vice President, reporting to the Deputy Head of Compliance and to the Conducting officer directly.

This is a role that would suit a Luxembourg funds lawyer moving into a first in-house role, or an experienced compliance professional with excellent alternative fund product and regulatory knowledge.

You will work on:
• Working on policies and procedures, whether reviewing or drafting
• Managing a compliance monitoring program
• Overseeing third parties undertaking delegated activities
• Providing advice on compliance to business colleagues
• Drafting compliance reports for internal use, or CSSF reports, being confident with presentations
• Lots of international liaison with colleagues

• Are in Luxembourg with excellent English language skills
• Have held a role in a fund, or regulatory department in a law firm or Big 4, or are already in-house working in compliance for an AIFM
• You have a great knowledge of the regulations relating to alternative investment funds
• Have a minimum Masters in Law
• Consider yourself to be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Probably have between 6 - 12 years' experience in compliance.
